Indus River Valley
location- According to what I read, the text states that the Indus River is located in South Asia. The Indus river valley covers most of modern day Pakistan. It also covers some of modern-day India and some of Afghanistan.
architecture/technology- According to the text, I saw that people cared alot about hygiene and their cities resembled that. The Indus cities is also shown with impressive dockyards, granaries, warehouses, brick platforms, and protective walls. This city was very well planned out. They also cared alot about sanitation.
Goverment- I read that there are 4 main governement things. Those four things consist of the Parliamentery system, federal republic, parliamentary republic and constitutional republic. There are also only 5 countries in south Asia that have a big part of the government. Those are Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Pakistan.
Writiing- In the text, it states that there are over 400 symbols that have been uncovered from different locations. Alot of them were found on seals, ceramic pots, and other types of material. Some people say that it is not a proper writing system. Some people have trouble trying to read any of the writing.
Religion- I read that South Asias religion consists of a few different religions. They are Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. They first started their religions around 2500 BCE. The Indus civilization is called Harappan civilization. There were a lot of festivals in the Indus River Valley.
