: This is a hand on activity that uses a piece of paper and sepertes into 6 boxes. Each box has a category to help decode and learn a new vocabulary word.

This type of strategy uses phonological awareness skills by segmenting words into individual sounds. To do this strategy you listen to a word and move an object, like a chip or coin, into a box based off of each sound they hear.

: This help with focusing a students on the text and with tracking the words they are reading. You can provide students with a notecard they can put under each line, so when they read they are blocking out other text and moving the notecard after finishing each line.

: This can help students with letter sequencing and with arranging the letters into words. Provide the students with magnetic letters and a metal surface where they can work on a spelling list and putting the letters in the correct order to spell the word.

:This can be done by providing students with items that sounds the same, dog/frog. This will help with detecting sound and sound patterns in words.This helps with sound discrimination, phonics, and phonological awareness.

:This is an activity that works on subtilizing. This helps with mental math skills and solving problems, and understanding numbers. This builds on recognizing groups through the dots on that card.

: By doing these activities you are helping your student strengthen and provide their muscles stability. You can start by sorting bigger objects, them moving to smaller objects, then have them use tweezers to pick up items. From here you can even have them make s pasta necklace to really support the fine motor skills.

: Provide the child wish a safe place where the child is able to go and compose themselves and regulate their emotions. Have the work through the consoius displine stargtegies of 5 steps of self regulation. You should also provide your students with different claiming experices they can use to clam themselves, like the conscious displaine drain.

: This is a guided strategy to get the student thinking without fully providing them with the answers. With asking the students questions you are redirecting them and requiring them to use their active-thinking. You are helping with by providing them with enough information and redirection to solve the problems.

: Instead of focusing on the negative provide the child with specific and positive feedback on the desired behavior they are displaying. This can be done differently based on the kid (verbally, quietly to them, or through notes).

: By using flashcards you can help with developing memory skills. This is also a type of reinforcement with the use of visual cues. This can be used on a variety of things like, multiplication facts, vocabulary words, spelling, etc.

: Through these activities you are providing your students with the chance to be up and moving around. These gives the chance to interact with others and to have their attention on the task due to stimulation.
Interrupting/Talking

: This is something that can help with the blurting out and interrupting. This is a creative way for you to get these students to learn to be patincent and think about what they are going to say before they say it. Have the students split into teams and have them discuss the topic at hand by giving each team 1-2 minutes to talk about each topic. You are meant to still be involved I the conversation and provide guidance.

Checklist
: Have the kids create to-do list. This can be a great way to remind students of what they have do and what they may need to bring. Whenever an assignment or project is complete they are able to mark the item off their list and this help create a sense of accomplisment and achievement. This helps with organizing thoughts and accessing information (executive function).

This is an activity to help with emotional awareness and self-regulation. These face are referred to as "Feelings Buddies" and this can help with identify emotions.

This can be used to improve balance and sensory skills. Bouncing helps sensory overload and anxiety. It can also help with fewer repetitive movement, which is another characteristic of autism.
