organization
a manger must be organized as it is their responsibility to make sure that everything is ready so that business can run smoothly with all the equipment in check

if there is events planned, they must make sure that it runs smoothly and that everything is organized
controlling
a manger must control what the employees are doing making sure that they are following all the rules of the company and the law
a manger must also make sure that the employees are doing their jobs correctly and are not slaking off
is is the managers duty to keep the employees in line making sure they are presentable by controlling their outfits making sure they stick to the company uniforms
staffing
decide if the staff member is up to the busineexss standard and if the staff member isn't up to standard the manager has to take it upon themselves to sack them if this is the case.

a manger may need to plan events that the company may be holding, deciding when and where they must be.
a manger must plan projects for a company so that the employees have woek to do at all times and know what they are doing.

monitor
a manager must watch the employees do their jobs and make sure that they are being efficient and are doing their jobs properly
a manager should also be looking at the equipment and monitoring if any changes need to be made if any are faulty or damaged

the leader will be the one that checks over work and will check for any problems and if so the they will try and solve the problem with the issue
motivator
the leader has the opportunity to motivate the employees by giving the them a pay rise, work benefits and give them double pay on a bank holidays
lead by example
the leader can show what the employees need to do an set a level of quality that the employees need to recreate
team builder
as a leading they should make the best team possible and should carry out interviews so that they know what type of people are going to be apart of the team and have an in site to what they are like
decision maker
the leader also needs to make the final decisions for every project so that there are no faults in anything that is produced my the employees or the managers
support others
they can support others by helping if they are really busy or if they need help on a project that the need an opinion on or if they need equipment
