PURPOSE: Helps in collecting and creating ideas by collecting things that give a sense of what will be needed
A collection of sample materials and products that give a feel of what will be needed on th product. Can be digital or physical.
USES: A start point for any project, a reminder of styles and to collect a range of relevant ideas and content.
CONTENT: Images, colours, text, materials, sounds/videos(digital only)

Visualisation diagram
USES: To show what the final product will look like.
PURPOSE: To plan the layout of a static product in a visual way
CONTENT: Images, Colours, Fonts, Annotations

Script
A piece of written work that can be used for a movie, audio or screenplay.
PURPOSE: To identify the location, identify who will be there and to provide dialogue and stage directions for actors.
USES: Animations, video products, coputer games, audio product etc.
CONTENT: Locations, scene description, camera shots/movements, actors/ characters, shot lengths/ timings, lighting, sound effects, dialogue.

A way of organising thoughts and ideas onto paper. Also known as a spider diagram.
