The promises given to me
Mom
I promised to raise my daughter and teach them about having faith in God. Show them how to be kind and how to have empathy for others. I always take her to church and I have her help with the patients at my nursing home who all have mental disabilities.

I promised to always be there to deal with my sister's nonsense and to listen to whatever weird fun facts that may scar me for life she wants to share. I still remember her going on and on about how angler fish mate… and that's not even nearly as long as the time she got into her Transformers phase.
Dad
I promised to educate my daughter about discipline and respect while also encouraging her to work hard and do her best. Everyday I always give her a small piece of advice wether it's at home or in the car, and whenever she tells me she's done bad on a test I let her know that it's not the end and she just has to work harder the next time https://youtu.be/tKeN9U9UsdY

Uncle
I promised to always keep in touch although I am very far aways. Always check and make sure my niece is doing okay. I'm across the state studying medicine at college, but I always go over on holidays to spend time with my brother's children.

I promised to teach and them about the computer science industry and give them opportunities about joining the community. Me
I promised to stop being so introverted and to be myself around others. There's nothing wrong with trying to socialize and I have to remember that. I don't often go to social gatherings but when I do, I urge myself to meet the friends of my friends. https://youtu.be/A3DsK-fziMI
Grandma
I promised to teach my grandaughter skills she will need when she becomes and adult such as cooking and basic knowledge on how to do house chores. I don't visit often, but when I do I cook fried rice and other dishes and clean up the house with them.

I promised to relieve them from stress by teaching them how to be an idiot. To make them laugh when there is too much going on around them. If I were to ever see my friend cry, I would show them a funny video or tell them about something stupid I did.

I promised to help them when they need it and teach them the ways of being an idiot so they know how to have fun. We go to the same school so it's easy for me to check on them, and every once in a while I give them a small gift for them to take home. I always reference memes and inside jokes that remind them about the times we spent together when we were young.

I promised to always be there for them when they need emotional support. To keep and touch and makes sure they are doing well by always texting them wholesome messages and adorable pictures of animals to keep their spirits up

I promised to annoy and tease my sister but to always let them know that I've got their back when times are tough. I watch anime at full volume in the middle of the night, I always go into their room without knocking, but as soon as I hear that they're being bullied by someone else besides myself I am throwing hands

I promised to always protect my hooman from invaders and to always make sure to hide their socks underneath the couch. When ever the door bell rings I go BALLISTIC. Most of the time it's just my hoomans but every once in a while they'll bring guests and I do everything I can to chase them away.
