What is it?
Wind energy is the energy obtained from the wind, that is, it is the use of the kinetic energy of the air masses. The term "aeolian" comes from the Latin aeolicus, or "belonging to or related to Aeolus", god of the winds in Greek mythology.
How does it work?
Wind energy is a renewable energy source that is obtained from the kinetic energy of the wind that moves the blades of a wind turbine which in turn starts a turbine that converts it into electrical energy.
How is your transformation process?
Wind energy is obtained by converting the movement of the blades of a wind turbine into electrical energy. ... The blades are connected to the rotor, in turn connected to the shaft (positioned at the pole), which sends the rotational energy to the electric generator.
