Differences game ideas
Story
3.You are spawned in a location like in a bedroom or something and you look around the house and then you go to the sleep and there is a difference in the house like a different coloured apple for example and you have to find this apple and click on it and well done you have completed a level. This is what you are going to do over and over until the final level to complete the game. What the main character wants is to be able to sleep and he tells you that by saying different thing about beeing tired and wanting to sleep/
4.You are a cat and every time you complete a level the colour of the cat changes and each level is different. The objective of every level is to find food and every 2 minutes the hunger level drops so you have to find food as sonn as possible. Each level is more difficult the more darker the cat is. For example if you are a black cat the level is the street and you got to find food your self and when you are a white cat the level is a house and you get food from your owners but don't worry all levels will end with a happy ending.
2.You are a human and every time you pick up a different object the weather changes. For example if you pick up a rock it is going to start to rain and if you pick up a flower the sun will come out. You don't know why is this happening but at the end of the game will by meeting an npc which will explain to you who are you and why you got this super power.
1.You are a human and every time you click the space bar the gravity changes. You will have to change the gravity because there will be obstacles on the way. There will be 3 levels and you get to the next one after you complete the current one.
Levels
2.A park with trees, flowers, rocks and a lake. The player is able to walk freely thruout the whole park so it seems like it's an open world but there will be specific path which the player will have to use to get to the next part of the level meaning that it will not be a free choice so it won't be an open world but it will seem like it is an open world. This way the player will feel more free while completing the level.
3.A house with furniture that will be in white box style. The whole level will be a house and the rooms that the plyer will be able to enter will be the main character's bedroom that will have a bed, computer, wardrobe and anything that could be in teenager's room. The other rooms will be kitchen, living room, bathroom room and parent's room. In the parent's room the player will have walk while crouching to not make any noise because if he does than the parent's will wake up and the level will be repeated.
1.A star ship that will only go horizontally and the player will be forced to go right now matter what. The player will only change the gravity so he will decide if the player is going up or down. There will be obsticles on the way so that the player will have to focuss all the time while playing the game. This will be repeated throught all 3 levels. The main difference in each level will be that every next level will be harder to complete by having more obsticles on the way and beeing it a longer level. Also the picking up object will be in a harder spot each level so that the player if he want's to complete the game with a 100% score will really have to challenge him self to do so because of how difficult it will be to pick up the object on the last level.
4.There will be a house level as well as a street level with building and bins. In the house level you will be able to walk and jump on prety much anything you would like since you are a cat and that what cats do. In the house you will have access to all the rooms. Those rooms are 2 different bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and a living room. While you are in the house level you will be able to find some sort of food in anyroom you go to with an exception of the bathroom.
Mechanics
2.The game will have simple mechanics like walking and running but the main mechanic that the player will use is pick mechanic that will be activated by pressing e key and being in the radios of the object. This mechanic will change the weather that is in the currently in the game and will start a mini game for example if the player makes an interaction with mushrooms then the weather will go all cloudly and the will be squires throwing nuts at you and you as the player will have to dodge does nots for like 2 minutes and then the weather will go all sunny again you will be able to walk freeley thruoght the park. The mani game mechanics are importand in this game because the player will not know what to expect everytime so he will be exited to see how hard/easy the next mini game will be.
3, There will be some simple mechanics like walking but the main mechanic will be the player pressing the e key near an object that has changed colour from the previous level and after finding this object and pressing e this level will be completed and the next level will load up. Also there will be a crouching mechanic that the player will have to use in the parent's room to not wake them up because if he does the level will restart. The crouching mechanic is really importand here because before there was not way of how to fail in a level but instead just forcing the player to have all the time he needs to find the difference but know if the player will find a difference in the paren't room than he will be force to use the crauching mechanic or the level will just fail and reload. This way the player isn't free to do what ever he wants in the level and has to be carefull not to make a sound. I think this will make the game more fun to play since the player won't just jump around in each room searching for that one difference.
- The only game mechanic that the player can use will be the change of gravity after pressing the space button. This is because the character will be going right all the time until the level is finished. But there will be a pick up mechanic that the player will activate once they pick up an object but that will not be forced on the player to pick up, it is going to be a pick that will be harder to get than the level. The change of gravity mechanic is importand because it iwll be the only mechanic the player is in full controll of and that's a good thing because if he fails he will not be satisfacted and will know that he has failed just because of him since he has the full controll. The pick up mechanic is also really importand because it gives the player more things to do so that he will possible stay in the game for longer and possible enjoy the game more.
4.You got the simple mechanic of walking and jumping but also there will meowing mechanic that will scare other cats off to be able to search garbage bin by your self. There also will be an eating mechanic that will feed up the cat which will be the main objective of the game and the longer the player looks for the food the more food he will have to find because hunger goes down every 2 minutes and to complete the level the has to be no hunger. This is importand mechanic because the player won't have much time to not do anything because the hunger level will go down so he has to find food as fast as possible.
End game
2.The end of the game will happened after you have used every object to change the weather. You will be able to do that you by playing and exploring the game. Also at the end of the game you will find out why you have this power of changing the weather when interacting with nature and will be able to decide if you want to keep those power or not. based on what you choose there will be a different ending but there will not be more content based on the choise so no matter what you pick the amount of game play will stay the same.
3.The game will end after you found all a difference in each level. Then you are able to sleep which was what the character wanted to do thruoght the whole game.
- The end of the game be by completing the last 3rd level. To get to the 3rd level you have to complete the 1st and 2nd level. If you would want to complete the game with 100% you would have to pick up the pick ups that are in level.
4.The game ends after you complete the black cat level in which you have to find your own food before the hunger level drops to the minimum and scare of other cats from your food by meowing mechanic which scares other cats.
