Chapter book planning.
My Novel will be about, A young man working in alignment with the Nazi party. He is born into a family with his father being a high-level official. His next job is to assassinate an American official working to save the Jewish people. However the word assassinate was never used, the man has been raised knowing to know more than the Nazi party. Once in America following his order (still to come up with the strategy he uses) as he tricks officials and works alongside the Americans. His life beliefs begin to dis align with him as a person. And he ends by shifting his work to America, leaving the Nazi party.
Books.
The Book Thief, Markus Zusak
I chose this book to base off because I am really interested in the times of Nazi Germany and would love to introduce it maybe to my book. I also like the bondage between Liesel, Hans and Rudy too. I think that the relationships between these characters are really powerful.
Anne of Green Gables, L.M. Montgomery
Anne's interment temperament and language styles are really clear and easily. So I would like to relate that to my text.
The Litigators, John Grisham
Not only is the read and the style of The Litigators really well done, but the emotion shown by David Zinc in the start of the book with his out of body pain and reaction.
Boy, Roald Dahl
This book written from the time of when I would like to set my book. It also show the young relationships between kids and how they interact.
Six of Crows, Liegh Bardugo

Movies.
Kingsman
Kingsman, again follows the inner workings of the spy society and I want to follow this into my novel.
-
Mission Impossible
As you can probably tell I'm really interested in having the workings of assassination against someone in America who may be part of the nazi party. (him being unaware then realising he does not want to kill people be a part of the organisation...). I liked seeing the strategy and I think I will apply some to my novel.
Bourne Identity
I want to strongly tie my novel to this film, I want the book to follow an assassin who is broadly unsure that he is one. I want it to have that shock of realiseation.
Shadow and Bone
This is based on the Six of Crows, so it has the same style. I am undecided whether to use a similar world to that of Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows or keep it to normal.
Experiences.
-
Fear
Not only I but the person undergoing the experience, when one of my extremely close friends Mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is like a second Mother to me and to watch and see he under go the pain and the anger of the treatments was scary yet empowering. She handled the punches with elegance and is so inspiring to me. Luckily she has made a full recovery.
