Synonymy
Two words are synonymous if they have the same sense: it means if they have the same values for all of their semantic features.
it does not capture differences in connotations, or the assosiations that the speaker have with a word.
It also differ in the register, or level of formality with which they are associated
Hypnonymy
Its a word that contain the meaning of a more general word, known as the superordinate.
Overlap
Two words overlap in meaning if they have the same value (but not all) of the semantic features that constitute their meaning.
