Characteristics of the XVIII and XXI societies
Communication:
XVIII: Letters, Talking.
XXI: Internet, news, social media, phone, talking.
Education:
XVIII: Limited, only rich families got education
XXI: It's a right they are public and private schools but not everybody has access to it.
Transportation:
XVIII: Horses, walking, boats.
XXI: Cars, buses, airplanes, boats, bikes, walking, motorcycles etc.
Politics:
XVIII: Monarchy: System or form of goverment when thers just one ruler ( King Queen monarch etc)
XXI: Democracy : Is a system of goverment where the society choses its ruler
Production:
XVIII: Economy: Feudalism (Few rich people a lot of poor people) - Trading (Food: land, Animals: farms, Goods)
XXI: Economy: It's divided by different social classes depending on the place you live. To produce there are lands and factories
Living style:
XVIII: The cities were over 1 million citizens because most of the people lived on the countryside and most adults died before they got 60 years old. The largest cities on those days were: - London: 9 Million - Istanbul: 15 Million - Beijing: 21 Million - Tokio 13 Million nowdays
XXI: Most people live in the city but also in the countryside.
