Ancient Civilizations
Mesopotamia
:Architecture:This is where people would make plans on how they would build their houses or there buildings like churches or a grave house and other stuff like that.
Art:They would make art to show on what they did and what have happened.I would say that they used Art in their writing because at that time they didn't know on how to write with words like how we write with words now.
Location:The other wrote that Mesopotamia was between two great rivers, the Tigris and Euphrates.Today, the area that used to be Mesopotamia is modern-day Iraq. (Steele 6)
Religion:So back then the government would have control or power to tell people what to do.That would only work for some places though. If you had a place to where you can do what you want then you are free to do whatever without the government telling you what to do.If you live in a place where he tells you to do somethings then you can do whatever you want after you do the things you were told to do.If you live in a place where you are told to do something and you can't do what you want to do then the government has full control and power over you.
Writing:Back then they would take sticks or they would use their hands on clay and write symbols. The symbols would represent some kind of word(s).Those words would help us understand on what they did and what had happened back then.
Government:The government either tells you what you have to do, things you have to do but you get to do some things you like too, and you just get to do whatever you want because it depends on where you live and what government you have.Back then though you would have a government that would make all the rules which that was really mean to those people back then.

Ancient China
Government: In Ancient China their government was living off of the civil services. I know this because in the book it says "In Ancient China the government was run by the civil service. There were thousands of civil servants throughout the empire who reported in to the Emperor." Ancient China had a monarchy government. (Emperor)
Art: Ancient China's art has so many things made they have calligraphy, embroidery, paintings, statues, buildings, shrines, porcelain, silk, puppets, lacquer ware, firecracker folk toys, opera, paper fans, paper cutouts, lanterns, kites, seals, swords, daggers. If you think that's a lot they have a lot more than just that.
Architecture/Technology: In Ancient China their Architecture/Technology is walled compounds, raised pavilions, wooden columns, panelling, yellow glazed roof tiles, and landscaped gardens. If you thought that was all well you were wrong because there are a lot more. (I just can't put them down.) Did you know that they also used gunpowder for there technology. (That's pretty amazing.)
Trade/Commerce: In Ancient China their trade/commerce is just Silk Road. You might think that's there's more than just that but no that's what it is. Silk Road is also not just called Silk Road it's also called Silk Route and ancient trade route.
Writing: On page 11, it said an ox bone or tortoiseshell was scorched over fire until it cracked. The Shang kings used the oracle bones to get advice from their ancestral spirits. The answers to their questions were shown on the bones with the various cracks.

Religion: Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism was one of the three Religions. I know this because it says " Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism is one of the three most important religions that Ancient China had." The most common religion was Confucianism because that was the reason that had shaped china.
