Mesopotamia

Religion: queen of the night. this clay plaque once stood in Babylonian shrine. it is more that 3,750 years old. the figure was originally painted in red, on a black background. it probably represents Ishtar, the goddess of fertility and ward however, some experts have argued that it shows Ishtar's sister. Tereshkova queen of the underworld and others that is shows a female demon called Lilith (Steele 14)
Government In the text it said, The Sumerian rulers enjoyed great power and fame and their exploits and deeds were remembered for centuries. some rulers such as Gilgamesh of uruk became legendary and their history was entangled with all kinds of myths. (Steele 10)
Location: The ather wote Mesopotamia was between two great rivers, the Tigris and the Euphrates.Today, the area that used to be Mesopotamia is modern - day Iraq. (Steele 6 )
Ancient China:
Location: n the Yellow River region of northern China, in the 3rd and 2nd millennia BCE. This is a very fertile region; however the land needs irrigation to make the crops grow, and well-built river embankments to prevent catastrophic flooding.
Writing: Dated from around 1400-1200 B.C.E, the inscriptions on bones and shells-called "oracle bones"-recorded divination used by the Shang royal house. The words were carved with a stylus, some were written with brush and ink made of lampblack or cinnabar.
Religions: Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism were the three main philosophies and religions of ancient China, which have individually and collectively influenced ancient and modern Chinese society.
Architecture: Ancient Chinese architecture includes palaces, city walls, temples, pagodas, and houses. Their architectural styles varied with purpose. The main three types were imperial administration buildings, traditional residences, and religious buildings.
Government: Chinese government had an established monarchy type of government where the emperor or king was the supreme power of authority and had an absolute and unchallenged position in the country.
Art: Ancient Chinese art includes calligraphy, embroidery, paintings, statues, buildings, shrines, porcelain, silk, puppets, lacquer ware, firecracker folk toys, opera, paper fans, paper cutouts and lanterns and kites, seals, swords, daggers, and more!
Indus River Valley

Location: (The Harappan civilization was located in the Indus River valley.) Its two large cities, Harappa and Mohenjo-daro, were located in present-day Pakistan's Punjab and Sindh provinces, respectively.
Government: The government in the Indus Valley was a monarchy, monarchy is a form of government in which supreme authority is vested in a single and usually hereditary figure, such as a king The Indus Valley people called their kings, rajahs.
Religions: Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. There are many seals to support the evidence of the Indus Valley Gods. Some seals show animals which resemble the two gods, Shiva and Rudra. Other seals depict a tree which the Indus Valley believed to be the tree of life.
Art: The artists and (craftsmen of the Indus) Valley were extremely skilled in a variety of crafts metal casting, stone carving, making and painting pottery and making terracotta images using simplified motifs of animals, plants and birds.
Architecture: There was a sophisticated concept of town planning in the Indus Valley Civilization. From the excavated remains, it is clear that it possessed a flourishing urban architecture. There were well-planned grids with broad main roads and smaller planes intersecting at right angles
Ancient Egypt
Architecture: Building In the text it said, "The first pyramid was built as the burial place of the king djoser in c.. 2650 B.C., by his gifted architect. It's nose in sbc stage and is the step pyramid. It was supposed to represent a gigantic stairway to the king to climb to join the sun god in the sky."(Hart 20)
government: The author wrote, sometimes the kids wear fish shaped amulets in their hair to guard it. The Protective spells would be kept in a container then it would be hung. (Hart 12)
Religion : It said they worshiped many gods and goddesses also it is hard for them to figure out who is who. Jackals were used to haunt cemeteries because the were linked with a funeral. (Hart - 24)
Art: In the text it said, "you can see the glint of gold everywhere in egyptian jewelry. Mines between the rile and the red sea coast yelled large quantities of this precious.
Writing : On page 34, Hieroglyphs were used on state monuments, temples, tombs. they can be written from left to right and bottom to top. also the cylinder seal was proven ownership to the people. ( Hart 34) )
Lactation : In the text it said the majority of Egypt was covered by desert. As a result, the ancient Egyptians lived near the Nile River, which was named the "Black Land" because of the bark silt. (Hart 8)
