Ancient Egypt
Location:In the text it said The cities were along the nile river's banks. "The egyptians live on the banks of the nile river or canals extending from it".(Hart 8)

writing: For writing back in Ancient Egypt, Scribes would have to hieroglyphs. An example is, "Scribes had to be experts in writing hieroglyphs, an elaborate form of picture-writing with about 700 different signs." (Hart 34).
government: In the text it said that the pharaohs ruled over all of ancient egypt. "
Architecture:Was not very different in Ancient Egypt than it was in Mesopotamia. An example is, "The chief priest had great power and controlled the vast wealth in the temple treasuries and he great lands of the temple estates." (Hart 28).
religion: In the text it says there was an administrative districts that had their own god. (at daw he would be khepri the betile) (Hart 24)
location:The Author wrote that Mesopotamia was between two great rivers, the Tigers and the Euphrates. Today, the area that used to be Mesopotamia is modern-day Iraq. (Steele 6) ![image]

art:on page 28 it says that the mesopotamians mastered many different ways to do stuff. they were good at art
government: one page 10 it says the empires were split. They had rulers for each city state. (steele 10)
writing: On page 12 it says the sumerians made the world's first script. It was made of a bunch of different symbols. (steele 12)

religion: In the text it said the people in mesopotamia the sumerians worshiped many gods. Each of the cities in mesopotamia had their own gods (Steele 14)
Ancient China
Government:There were dynasties that were just big families had power over ancient china. If one dynasty lost the mandate of heaven then another dynasty would take its place.In the text it says "Those who passed the top palace examinations could expect to be appointed as ministers or even marry princesses".
art: China was very fond of making pottery and statues.They also created tableware and fine silk. In the text it says "decorated tableware and fine silk".
religion:there were three different religions in ancient china. They are Confucianism,Daoism, and Buddhism. In the text it says "Divided into the three ways".
trade: A lot of trading took place on the silk road. They liked to trade on the silk road because there was very little danger. Chinese merchants would
trade silk,spices,rocks and a bunch of other things.
writing- on page 11 it said an ox bone or turtle shell is scorched over a fire until it cracked. the Shang Kings used the orcacle bones to get advice from there ancestrial spirits. The ansewers to their quistiona were shown on the bones with the various cracks. (Cotterall

location:Ancient china is located in Asia and stretches 3.705 million miles. There are walled of cities in china to protect them from the mongols. In the text it says "China was dotted with these walled towns and cities".
ag:Most people in ancient china lived in rural countryside areas and had to farm for themselves. There families would farm and they would keep the farm and then there kids would farm.In the text is says "worked in fields".
Indus valley
location: About 5,000 years ago a civilization started living around the indus river because of its rich land and fertile soil. Over time more colonies started to pop up all over the river. The valley of the indus river covers most of pakistan.

writing:The graphic showed that most of the peoples ancient writing was found on things like seats and ceramic pots. As of now, the writing that the indus valley people used is indespicable so we know little about their government and politics. Some scientists still wonder if it is actually a proper writing system
