Mesopotamia
Location: On page 6, it said that "the ancient Greeks called it Mesopotamia, meaning between the rivers."Ancient Mesopotamia was in the border of what is now modern-day Iraq. (Steele)
Writing: On page 12, it said that "As the first cities arose, people began to require records of ownership, business deals, and government." Before writing they used symbols from objects. (Steele)
Architecture: On page 24, it said that "The ziggurat, massive terraced platform made of brick." This building represented a mountain stretching to the heavens. (Steele)
Art: On page 28 it said that "The Mesopotamians mastered many technologies and crafts at an early point in their history." They would have to use old tools to mold clay into simple pots. (Steele)
Government: On page 52, the text said "As one of Mesopotamia's wealthiest and most influential cities, Babylon had thrived in the age of Hammurabi." It also rose glory under Nabopolassar.
Religion: In the text it said "The Sumerians worshiped many gods and goddesses, for example the goddess, Inanna, was the goddess of love and war." They also believed in holy spirits, demons, and spirits of the dead. (Steele)

Indus Valley
Location: On the website, the text states that the Indus River Valley covers most of Pakistan and a small part of Afghanistan. It also says that the Indus Valley region is a region that is rich in fertile soil. The plain is surrounded by high mountains, deserts, and the ocean.
