        Pay less attention to words, pay more attention to their voice tone, the look in their eye, body language
        
        Resist to interpret wha they do, say as some how implicitly involving us (it will turn our thoughts inward and close off connection)
        
        Take note of people's actions & decision to figure our hidden motive behind them
        
        Avoid making judgement on first impression
    - - 7 deadly realities (detect avoid triggering them)
        
        Envy
        
        Careful of people who praise you too much/ overly friendly in first stage of knowing, ppl with unusual level of insecurity
        
        if dealing with people like this: avoid appearing too perfect. Show some weaknesses. Never make people stupid in front of your presence. Display interest in their work+turn to them for advice
        
        Conformism
        
        Observe how much ppl feel the need to display certain opinions/ideas that conform to standards
        
        Rigidity
        
        ppl who follow procedures w/o knowing why. defensive if their ways are brought into question
        
        Solution: accept rigidity in others. Display respect and work to maintain our openness, letting go of bad habits and cultivate new ideas on our own.
        
        Self-obsessiveness
        
        people care about what's in it for them
        
        Solution: when ask for a favor, think of appealing to ppl' self interest in some way, give sth valuable to them
        
        Make conversation revolve around them & their interests
        
        5.Laziness
        
        Be cautious. Always guage whether when we do work for ppl will add to our skill base our not. Examine their past record to check their work ethic.
        
        6.Flightiness (irresonsible)
        
        Never assume what ppl say/do in a paricular moment as permanent.
        
        Solution: Cultivate distance & detachment from ppl shifting emotions. Focus on their actions. Don't take people promise on helping you seriously
        
        Passive Aggression
        
        Solution: Avoid or return the attack with sth equally indirect (to let them know not to mess with you)
        
        Notice: people around them act with unusual caution and terror in their presence.
- - - - when feel settling, look for new challenges to shake things up
    - - if we feel like we know, our mind close off to other possibilities (feel superior)
    - - Have trust and faith that return will come when facing frustration
      - time is magic - practice at steady level -> hardwired
      - frustration = progress signal (mind process complexity & require more practice)
    - - Resistance practice
        
        critic ourselves work with weakness
        
        Double intensity (insane deadline)
    - - may stick to one several years before moving different direction when time is appropriate
      - Open for opportunities (rigid path can lead to dead end)

    - - Tough love mentor=>give you realistic feedback
