TYPES OF SOCIAL MEDIA TO CREATE
1. Written posts, blogs, articles, guides, and more
These can be more useful in platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook because these apps allow you to post more than 1,500 words which could be helpful especially when you're writing about complicated concepts.
2. Electronic Books (eBooks)
eBooks are more longer and more detailed than written blog posts, but they take a lot of time to produce and not everyone in your audience would want to read a whole eBook.
3. Links to external content
This kind of post would be more useful if you don't have enough time to finish a blog post or write a whole eBook. It is important that the links embedded are from trusted and reliable sources.
12. Holidays
Holiday-themed contents are enjoyed by many users online, so it is easy to create themes, traditions, and other holiday concepts that could enhance contents you post online.
11. Contests
Contests are engaging and fun to host, but you need to have a prize for your audience which costs you money.
10. Announcements
Announcements are able to alert people about new products, events, livestreams, and other things that can build hype as well.
4. Images
Posting visual content can be much more appealing for audiences online. These are sometimes more digestible and engaging than long blog posts.
5. Videos
Similar to images, videos can attract more people online. These are more convenient, easy, and more engaging than pictures.
6. Video Stories
These are available on apps such as Instagram and Facebook, which helps in keeping users updated about something before disappearing after 24 hours.
7. Live Videos
Live Videos are great in bringing together audiences that aren't physically able to attend, and livestream videos can still be viewed after 24 hours.
8. Infographics
Infographics utilize visual presentation in order to support explanations, statistics, and other written concepts which would be helpful especially in conveying complex ideas.
9. Testimonials and Reviews
These are valuable especially to customers who trust the opinions and experiences of others more than what is posted in social media.
