CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS
Bleeding gums
Poor night vision and white growths on the eyes
Mouth ulcers or cracks in the mouth coners
Scaly patches and dandruff
Brittle hair and nails
Hair loss
Red or white bumps on the skin
Restless leg syndrome
CAUSES
Having dark skin
Pigment melanin reduces the skin ability
Limited exposure to sunlight
To make Vitamin D in response to sunlight exposure
Following a strict vegan diet
PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
The proper mineralization of bone
And the maintanance of normal calcium level
Promotes the efficient absorption of calcium from the intestine
