Integrate Inverter into the vehicle - Coggle Diagram
Integrate Inverter into the vehicle
Mount to the underbody
On the right-hand side underbody where the saddle-tank used to reside
This would be fairly close to already existing PECL lines
In the middle of the underbody where the differential used to reside
Cut a hole in the rear floor and have the inverter half in the rear trunk and half in the underbody above the RTM
Install heat shielding between inverter and RTM
Inverter needs to be weather-resistant
Replace location of MAB
Fabricate new sheet metal mount
Create part in CAD and use plasma cutter
PECL integration may be convoluted moving from DC-DC to the ISC
HV DC should be easily routable in this location
New hole possibly needed for 3-phase AC to reach RTM
New MAB mounting location will need to be chosen, most likely between rear seats and ESS
Additional MAB mount may need manufacturing
Replace the location of the HV Distribution box
HV distribution box will need to be moved
New mount needed behind the rear seats that doesn't interfere with folding seats
Add to the rear trunk component packaging (replaces the VN8911)
Will require new mounting arrangement for rear trunk components
Limited on hole locations due to competition rules
