Radio waves

they are used in industry to check welding
- they are scattered by dust particles present in earth's atmosphere
- they follow the laws of reflection and refraction
- they affect strong photographic plate as they are chemically more active than visible light
- for detecting purity in gems ,ghee etc
they are absorbed by glass but they pass through rock-salt
they are detected by heating process using blackened bulb thermometer
they are used in remote control of television and other gadgets
these waves are used in radar communication and in radio and television transmission
