Clinical manifestations
Pain or pressure in chest (angina)

Nursing Diagnoses
Risk for decreased cardiac output
Acute pain related to myocardial flow evidenced by reports of pain
Deficient knowledge related to misinterpretation of information evidenced by questions or statements of concern
Nursing intervention
Maintain bed rest /chair rest in comfort position
Monitor vital signs /cardiac rhythm
Ausculatate breath sounds and heart sounds(listen for mumurs)
Administer O2 as needed
Evaluation
Report/diaplay decreased episodes of dyspnea
Demonstrate increased activity tolerance
Participate in activities that reduce workload of the heart
