Look's essentially redundant to have a page to check trails when the map page does a similar add perhaps add this section into the map tab while adding a scroll feature to access both? Make the home page a clean starting page for notifications as well as simple things e.g. safety tips flashing occasionaly and quotes with a clean background and can have tabs to lead into other tabs e.g. maps
Ability to toggle between satellite pic and photos on route page
Maps Page
The Rating Page is a two click approach and is visually inaccessible at first glance, this is inefficient and isn't optimal to find information quickly of climb difficulty. This can be fixed by having visual identification on the pin's for the climb difficulty by having them colour coordinated with a gradient from green to red i.e. easy to hard this can have a highlight to those pins marked on the app for an efficient ui
"Gamification" Achievement System etc.
Add certain features for user's with numerous achievements e.g. visual badges on user profiles to showcase their work and ensure user retention.
Adding wishlist or goals to app would help user be inspired to go on more climbs and see a sence of progression
Social Aspect
Profile: Include number of climbs completed
We could fix this by adding certain groups to certain areas, and user created groups so it doesn't get cluttered as this would create a messy and inefficient social aspect as everyone can see your messages. an all chat could be included but alongside other group chats
Ability to add comments on routes for tips on beta and sefty concerns of specific route
Having a single channel for social chat with user's will inevitably become cluttered as it is essentially an "all users" channel.
Safety Feedback
Emergency helpline/support, since safety instructions is not reliable source.
Possible to liability if user gets injured using the app to get their safety information from.
Problem, safety check could be bypassed by users! Give an option for a safety verification where another individual can "sign off" with their own app whether a user has truly learnt the skills to ensure they're actually listening. as this is a common practice as many user's disregard safety practices, users can use safety verification for enhanced safety in climbs.
