Mom
My mom raised me to have priorities because if they are important to me, then they hold value and she will support me regardless. Whether it’s about a simple assignment, or a significant decision in my life, she influences me to follow through with those said decisions regardless of what everyone else is doing.

Teachers
Teachers influence my morality because they have taught me life lessons that still stick with me till this day. I remember one teacher told my class and I a story about how we should always prioritize our studies, but also manage to have fun. This made me think about how you can still have fun while making good choices.

Dad
My dad influences me to be a leader, even if I am not the most outgoing person in the room because leadership isn’t always rooted from being the loudest in the room. He influences me to be a role model for others without being in the front of the room.

Social Media
Social media influences me to be more mindful of events that are happening in today’s world because each platform possesses a large audience. Each social media platform can be used to spread awareness on a certain topic, which can inform me for the better.

Sister
My sister influences me to finish what I started because it’s not about how you start, but it’s about how you finish. Even though she admits that she was not the smartest person in class, she still worked hard enough to go to college and graduate within 4 years.

Friends
My friends influence me to be a better friend towards others because they consistently check up on me and overall make my days better. Their kind actions reflect upon me and influence me to be just like them.

Brother
My brother influences me to help those around me and understand things from their perspective because as much as my feelings are important, my peers around me are human too. As an older brother, he influences me to stop and think about how the other person would feel before I act out in any situation.

News
News influences my morality because it informs us about events, tragedies, politics, etc. Seeing these types of events or debates happen makes me practice my own morality and question what or who was right or wrong.

Music
Music influences my morality because there was this one time where I was allowed to play music out loud at home. There was a choice I had to make between a song that was not as appropriate or a song that was more appropriate. Although this seemed like a small decision, this made me think more deeply about choosing right and wrong.

School/Moreau
School influences me to make my own decisions because I have to navigate myself through my schedule by myself since high school gives you independence. During class and after school, I have to decide whether or not I should complete these assignments or do this one thing, and whether I do or don’t that reflects upon me.
