what is voice modulation and projection
Voice Modulation is when you control or adjust your voice. It’s when you choose to go louder or softer, faster or slower, dramatic or emotional. Basically, voice modulation means using your voice and tone to communicate your message more effectively.
Without voice modulation, you would speak in a continuous, monotonous pitch or tone. We use voice modulation in our daily conversation as well, but the problem is that when we get up in front of an audience, stage fright dries up our throat and makes it hard for us to effectively use our tone and pitch.
Voice projection is the strength of speaking or singing whereby the voice is used loudly and clearly. It is a technique employed to command respect and attention, as when a teacher talks to a class, or simply to be heard clearly, as used by an actor in a theatre. Breath technique is essential for proper voice projection
what is paralinguistic language
Paralinguistics are the aspects of spoken communication that do not involve words. These may add emphasis or shades of meaning to what people say. Some definitions limit this to verbal communication that is not words.
Example
Body language, gestures, facial expressions, tone and pitch of voice are all examples of paralinguistic features.
