ECONOMIC FACTORS:
Prepared to strive for all Germans (regardless of social class)
Did not give much detail, yet were very appealing
Other parties did not give attractive proposals
NATIONALISM
The Nazis strived for an end to class-based politics
"No longer parties but only Germans"
Hitler shared everyone's hatred towards the "November Criminals" and towards the Treaty of Versailles
Promises that they would restore Germany's honour and position
FEAR OF COMMUNISM
Most of the population was anti-Communist and dreaded the idea of a Bolshevik-like Germany
The Nazis made it clear that they strongly opposed Communism
HITLER
Presented himself as a selfless patriot with the purpose of rescuing Germany. He had fought in WW1, and had won awards for his bravery
He was not corrupt
A great public speaker; was very charismatic
PARTY ORGANIZATION
Clothing similar to that before WW1, but entirely modern ideas and viewpoints
NAZI ORGANIZATION
During the 1920s, the Nazi Party established branches throughout Germany. Literature targetting specific issues and specific groups was produced
Were financially stable and able to pay their debts (solvency)
