Digital First
Purpose / Benefits?
We have the aims / vision
We have the drivers / objectives
We are working on developing ideas to meet the above
We haven't yet carried out a Benefits Assessment for the Digital First Programme
D1st is a facilitating programme - helping HEE staff provide Digital first services
Helping teams in terms of process / recruitment / etc
Who's involved?
Digital First Task and Finish Group
Initiated by Navina - 3 non-Exec directors. Navina and Patrick co-share it. There are TOR for it. Met in Feb - July and one more in December.
In a Sharepoint site limited to T&F group
Digital Champions
Do they have clarity on their role? (Do we need to test this?)
If yes, how do we maintain that?
If no, how can we mitigate that in future?
Only represent one user group (but our main user group as HEE staff)
Those involved in the Digital Self-Assessment?
Are these different to the Digital Champions?
If yes, are they a customer of Digital First or a group involved in shaping the Programme directly?
If no, where does the Self-Assessment tool fit within the wider Digital First Programme?
Digital First Project / Programme Group
Bit of a talking shop at the moment - how can we structure it better an make more use of it?
Senior leaders? For endorsement/ support and local/ directorate/ team level mandate?
Task and Finish Group process and progress tracking
Do we fully understand why the Digital First Programme of work exists?
Can we clearly map out remaining steps of the Task and Finish Group?
What's the driver for December? Arbitrary deadline, or necessary?
What happens after December?
Outcomes - a prioritised list of Programmes of work / Services?
How will we evaluate the list in terms of overall
value
/
benefit
?
How will we evaluate the list in terms of overall
complexity
/
effort
to achieve?
Do we agree the
priority
is a combination of both
value
and
complexity
? i.e. something may be very valuable, but far too complex to be a priority when pitted against something of equal value, but really straightforward to achieve?
