Can I make paper?
In what ways will I make it sustainable?
Using recycled paper sources from within the school.
What materials will I use to make it?
Recycled paper, as it is abundant and sustainable, it is also very easy to source.
What tools and machines do I need to create paper?
I need a mixer of blender in order to pulp the paper. I'll need a bucket or soaking tub for the paper. I will also need a paper deckle, this includes a wood frame and mesh
How do I make a curve?
What materials will I use?
Bamboo veneer as it is flexible and will fit in with both the traditional and environmental aspect.
How many layers will I use to construct the curve?
Using around 3 layers. First bottom layer of a frame piece, middle layer of patterned piece, final top layer of another frame piece.
What mold do I need to use?
Male female mold
How do I construct it?
Using blue foam, as well as a Styrofoam sphere of the same size as my product.
What joining techniques will I use?(sphere)
3D Printer
Use the 3D printer to construct joints with each piece, or a joint/connector for all the pieces as a whole
