        It would be hard to change from something you've been teaching and been taught your entire life and especially when its something that benefits you unlike the poor civilians and slaves that needed hope from one god

        Adding a church gave everyone a place to go and hear those beliefs of christianity. If you were Christian and had different beliefs it wouldn't make sense that gave everyone a place to go so the knew what to believe in.

        The roman government hated them spreading their beliefs and refusing to worship their gods. It crumbled because thats when spreading their beliefs ended and they were being killed for doing so.

        he Canaan's were the crossroads of the eastern Mediterranean because they controlled the land that connected Asia to Africa. It's seaports also opened up to the Mediterranean and the Red seas.

        The prophets constantly urged the Jews to stay true to their covenant with God. The prophets also taught that the Jews had a duty to worship God and live justly with one another.

      - Hindu Religious Practice
        
        Religious practices vary. Worship can take place anywhere. At temples priests might recite or read portions of the Vedas to worshipers. Sometimes and image of a god is carried to the front of the people in the temple. People at home might offer food and drinks to a god, or also send prayers or just meditate. To help them meditate they do yoga. This helps to focus their mind and also helps to achieve moksha.
        
        At some point in their lives Hindus would travel to a sacred place of their religion like Ganges River, which is thought to flow from the feet of Vishnu and over the head of Shiva, so this water becomes holy because is touching two gods.

        The buddhism religion first was taught in northeastern India, and is now all over the world.

      - "The cause of all suffering is people's selfish desire for the temporary pleasures of this world."

      - "The way to overcome such desires and attain enlightenment is to follow the Eightfold path, which is called the Middle Way between desires and self-denial."
    - - The eightfold path was like stairs, for this religion the people wanting to find enlightenment had to go one step at a time to make it to nirvana which is life without suffering. It is the main goal for people following buddhism.
      - It is called the middle way because for people in buddhism religion had to go through the one path which they believed was the way live the best life.

        Buddha did not like or support the caste system, he believed and taught that someones actions are the measure of who a person is. Buddhism does not teach about Gods. Buddhists believe that everyone and everything is equal parts of a whole.
        
        What is the caste system?
        
        The caste system is simply a class system that is determined by birth. You only get opportunities depending on what family you were born into.

In return from there donations, the supporters got religious merit called punya. They had to rely on community for their needs because they had to reject all worldly things.
