NURSING INTERVENTION
Administer ostrogen intravenously till bleeding subsides.
Put more pads and tampons in patient side locker.
Give ibuprofen for pain
Provides dark hospital attire to camouflage bleeding.
Administer birth control pills to reset menstrual cycle
Keep patient in the room with nearby bathroom for pad changing.
Administer iron supplements to restore loss blood.
Give naproxen drug to lighten bleeding
put patient in a semi fowler position for adequate oxygen intake
Monitor vital signs.
