Pathophysiology
• Once a fertilized egg or embryo adheres to the uterine lining, it is doomed to die (uterus).
• The fertilized egg does not adhere to the uterine lining, and the eggs are unable to travel from the ovaries to the womb.

DefinitionInfertility refers to the inability to conceive after a year of trying. If you're a woman over 35, it indicates you've tried for 6 months and haven't been able to conceive.
