This is a Genealogical surgery where they remove the outer part of female’s genital organ which known as a vulva, this surgery is done as way of treating the cancer. the vulva are removed depending on how cancer has spreaded in the genital organ

This is the procedure that is done in theatre under the use of general anesthesia aiming to secure endocervical tissue or endometrium for cytological examination To remove the reserved products of pregnancy in incomplete abortion

• Monitor the vital sings at least every 15 minutes for the first hour and the check hourly if they are within normal ranges

DURING THE PROCEDURE

• The doctor insert a thicker rods right inside the cervix to dialate the cervix solely until it opened
• As the the rods are pulled out, the spoon like instrument with a sharp edge is inserted and remove the uterine tissue

• Inspection of the dressing on the operated site, report the the findings and redress as prescribed by doctor
• Report the tachycardia, restlessness and the pallor if any noted
