SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
Excessive bleeding keeping you from daily activities

PHARMACOLOGICAL TREATMENT
Levernogestrel intra-uterine system
Antifibrinolytics
Non-Steroidal anti inflammatory drugs
Vaginal ring contraceptive device
NURSING CARE PLAN
avoid using feminie wash during baths
stop using child spacing programmes if currently on one
Sexually active patients advised to use water soluble lubricants during intercourse
Frequent changing of pads and tampons
Definition- Heavy or prolonged vaginal bleeding with menstrual cycle
