flexion - Pulling the arm / body part onwards your body
Abduction - Move your limbs away from your body
Adduction - Move them towards your body
extension - releasing the flex
Inversion -Movement of your foot INwards
Eversion - Movement of your foot OUTwards
Supination - Rotating the palms upwards
Pronation - Rotating the palms down

Dorsal -Referring to the backside (think of a dorsal fin on a shark or dolphin)
Abdomen - Lower portion below the thorax
Ventral - Belly / under side
Medial - Towards the midline
Lateral - backside
Lateral - Away from the midline

Superior - Top / above
Cranial - The brain / near the head
Thorax - Upper portion right below the head, above the abdomen
Anterior - Opposite of posterior

Proximal - The closer of two points of attachment
Distal - The more DISTANT point of two attachments
Palmar - Palm of hand
Plantar - Bottom of foot

Inferior - below
Caudal - The tail
