Functions Basics - Coggle Diagram

- - - - The domain of a function is all possible inputs for that function
      - The range of a function is all possible outputs for that function.
      - On a graph
- - - - Say f(x)=x-1 and g(x)=2x. One can, for example, calculate f(g(3)) by finding the value of g(3)=2(3)=6 and plugging that value in the function f(x), that is, f(g(3))=f(6)=5.
        
        Example:
        
        g(x)=x2-1 and f(x)=3x+1 = (fg)(x)=3(x2-1)+1=3x2-2
