General
Title of subject: Engineering Materials (Materials Science)
Engineering: the study of using scientific principles to design and build machines, structures, and other things, including bridges, roads, vehicles, and buildings.
Materials: metal and metallic alloy, metallic materials, polymer, composite materials, rubber…
Goals of Course
Investigate the mechanical properties of materials and the common evaluation criteria such as mechanical properties, composition, usage, and standard code for metal materials, plastics, and composite materials.
Work in groups, communication and reading English technical handbooks.
Distinguish the common engineering materials and have the ability to choose metal materials for specific applications.
