In 1991 Kids Help Line opened, they got 3,200 calls!

1991- 90,000 calls in first year.

1993- Became national and got 1 million calls.

1999 - Introduced email contact form

2000- Kids help line web chat launched

2018- Celebrated 27th anniversary and received 3 million calls

How long were they around for?

Privacy and confidentiality- Keeping what you say private, not telling anyone.

Everyone treated with repect- Will listen to you fairly

Choose gender preference of counselor- So you can feel comfortable

Accuses the same counselor- So you can feel welcomed

Encouraged to give feedback- To improve your and others experiences
