More people lived to 20s and 30s which meant that they were able to live of and have babies.
These babies would also live on and have further children creating more generations.

In rural areas farmers employed fewer live-in servants therefore it was easier for agricultural labourers to marry each other.
In industrial areas unskilled labourers were taking the work of skilled craftsman which meant that industrial workers could marry as soon as they got a job or even if they did not have one.

Poor housing was not uniquely due to industrial revolution, there had been medieval slums and farmers lived in similar conditions to animals.
However, the industrial revolution was unique as it caused dense overcrowding. Urban dwellers responded by converting vacant living space and by building more dwellings.
CELLARS AND ATTICS WERE USED AS LIVING AND WORKING AREAS.
