What to submit
Analogue and digital version of a flip book
Aims
Communicate ideas with the teacher and establish viability of the projects.
Submit proposals and seek feedback from peers to inform final choice.
Detail three ideas including backgrounds, the object of interest, as well as how the object will be animated.
Explain why the above mentioned examples were chosen.
Explain procedure of checking copyright clearance.
Brainstorm ideas for Stop Motion and Flip Book animations.
Flip Book
Develop a flip book animation using index cards and the chosen idea.
Use 5'x3' cards, use a storyboard to ensure consistence along frames/framerate.
Experiment with photography to support stop-motion.
Produce an animation of between 30 and 60 frames/images.
Gather feedback from thee people on the flipbook storyline.
Plan photoshoot accounting for lighting, location, props, and equipment.
Preempt potential issues.

Use chosen background and manipulate in photoshop to fit A3 300dpi CMYK
In a studio environment, take images,
Transfer and store images, the review in Bridge to ensure they meet the brief. Rename using appropriator conventions and apply metadata.
Unpack project using Coggle / Mindmap.
Identify and demonstrate gathered examples of Stop Motion and Flip Book Animations.
Animation
Resize the images using PS -

Describe how to achieve the above process.
Make and document adjustments.
Contact sheet.
Create final Stop Motion using Photoshop using Timeline feature.
Export animation as MP4
Gather feedback from three peers.
Make any adjustments and export again if needed.

Write rationale (explain process of both practices, analogue vs digital, issues, improvement/reflection, how are design elements and principle incorporated into the work.
