Himalayas (mountains)
:
Himachal : Range on south of Himadri , The most Rugged mountains system . Composed of altered Rocks .
Altitude- 3,700 and 4,500 .

Plains
formed by the interplay of The Indus, the Ganga and the Brahmaputra along with their tributaries.
Being formed by the deposition work of rivers, it is highly fertile and plenty of water is available
As the rivers flow down the slope their velocities decrease, and thus amounts of silt is deposited which leads to the formations of riverine islands and hence to the formations of distributaries.
Coastal area
Gujrat, Maharashtra, Goa , Karnataka , Kerala , Tamil nadu , Andhra Pradesh , Odisha , West Bengal .
