The objective of META was to develop a triage system to be used in multiple casualty incidents (IMV), to a category of patients called surgical priority.
• 1 ° Red problems in the airway.
• 2 ° Red ventilation problems.
• 3 ° Red circulation problems.
• In yellow, those with a neurological disorder will be classified, being first in order of priority, and those that require hospital evaluation.
• In green the rest of the injured.
a. Penetrating trauma, that is, head, neck, trunk, trunk and areas proximal to the knees, knees and / or elbows with hemorrhage.
b. Pelvic trauma with open fracture.
c. Pelvic trauma with closed fracture and presenting mechanical and / or hemodynamic instability.
d. Possible closed trunk trauma with signs of shock.
Second, red patients who meet any of the following characteristics
Third, patients classified as 1st red, 2nd red or 3rd red that have not been resolved in the ABC, those who have been able to resolve in the ABC will be evacuated later
Patients with red color and surgical priority not evacuated in the second phase will be evacuated first.
• Systolic blood pressure less than 110 mmHg.
• Value on the Glasgow coma scale less than 6.
• Need for the airway to be isolated.
• Injury by explosion in confined space.
