Computational Thinking Principles
What is computational thinking?
It's the process in which a human finds the solution to a problem.
What is logical reasoning?
the process through which one estimates the difference between what is correct and what is not. (A. 2020)
What is pattern recognition?
It involves finding the similarities. (BBC.SF)
How is logical reasoning used in computing?
It help us determine if the algorithms will work by prediciting the steps and what will happen, if it will work or not.
What is abstraction?
We use abstraction to gather the general characteristics and to filter out of the details we do not need in order to solve our problem. (BBC, S.F.)
How is decomposition used in school or real life?
We usually use decomposition when we try to understand something better or when we explain something in order to make it clearer.
What is decomposition?
It involves breaking down a complex problem or system into smaller parts that are more manageable and easier to understand. (Arnold, 2020)
What is a problem?
a situation unwelcome or harmful that needs to be solved.
What is an algorithm?
Is a procedure or formula used for solving a problem. (Caitlin,2021).
