Teaching English to Young Learners

Take children outside the class and engage them in physical activities along with the words and sentences.

Do not focus too much on grammar but inbuilt the structure of the language they are going to use in completing the tasks.

Use songs for speaking practice
Create gestures for pupils to remember new vocabulary easily
Choose gestures that can be easily repeated

Use worksheets to practice material and test comprehension
Pupils enjoy hearing stories during class
Repetition are needed to help pupils catch the main points of the stories
Start with the most enjoyable and basic story
