Pathophysiology
It is particularly common at the extremes of the reproductive years.

Excessive fibrinolysis and insufficient follicles.

Endocrinopathy
Pelvi abdominal mass
Coagulopathy
Origin of the bleeding
Pregnancy
Investigations
Hesteroscopy
Endometrial biopsy

D & C
Pap smear
Medical management
Anti-fibrinolytic Agents
Endometrial Ablation.
NSAIDs (Mefanamic acid, ibuprofen, naproxen sodium)
Hysterectomy
Stabilise the endometrium with estrogen.
Combined oral contraceptive pills
