What they need (interest and engagement) what is not thier responsibility but they still need
It's an artist in residence I realize that the kids not only need their interest and understanding to be included in the classroom content that for the artist to be able to hear the non-spoken knees needs. The experience of what's someone said in the dialogue is beyond the verbal descriptions furthermore I believe it is beyond the need of interest but also the need for children to know where they're going to fulfil the task at hand.
Cons
- being absent from art projects (however if analyses and planned with importance the projects in school could contribute to ideas and skills used in the dance industry)
- as a career the downfall of not being a teacher in the Arts is that the student teacher relationships would not have time to develop beyond surface level.

Experiences as a guest artist in Newton school: Bringing knowledge and experiences with kids, dance, games ect. focused to the particular class. Learning from the students and learning thier interests, knowledge to then take that back to wider knowledge between Viva and I to repeat the process again.
This worked really well for the lesson plans, content and aims. The negotiation in content how many tasks that the kids want to do? Following the class, using the class contents and ideas but not only whatever you want to do, Authority autonomy
Providing a safe space. It was hard to maintain a safe space when I and the students knew that I was not going to be there long term. Trust build for those boys that originally did not want to participate in the 'dance' activities but the hard choices between following students desires to play games.
