Pathophysiology of Ovarian tumors
Cancer cells divide in the ovaries and develop a ball like structure with tumors
It can also be due to genetics like all cancers
Cell multiplication in one or many parts of the body
The tumors then becomes benign or melignant and cause variety of symptoms

A cancer of the ovary that is deadly and occurs due to
Tumors forming in the ovaries and causing complications
Diagnostic studies
Abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound is done
Laparotomy for diagnostic staging is done to determine how deep is the cancer e.g stage 3or 4
Pelvic examination is done to diagnose Ovarian cancer

Nursing interventions
And drug therapy
Surgery is done to extract tumors in the ovaries
Tumor debulking is done and chemotherapy may be done too to treat the cancer
Administer analgesia and comfort to aliveate the pain from tumors

Prepare a patient for all planned procedures
Clinical manifestations
Bloating and urinary urgency
Abdominal ascites and unexplained weight loss
Pelvic pain
Menstrual changes and bleeding
