CAUSES
An allergy reaction due to bubble bath or soap used to clean genital areas .
The use of coloured/ performed toilet paper
Use of vaginal sprays or douches
Allergic reaction to spermicides
Wearing of wet bathing aut
Bike/ horse back riding
Skin conditions / Eczema and dermatitis
SYMPTOMS
Extreme or constant itching
Vaginal discharge
Burning sensation in the vulvar area
Small crack on the skin of the vulvar
Blisters on the Vulva
Scaly, Thick whitish patches on the Vulva.
Complications
Infertility
Increased risk for contracting HIV
Pelvic inflammatory disease
Premature birth
Still birth
Low birth weight
Diagnosis
Urinalysis
Full pelvic exam
Pep smear
Treatment
Wearing of breathable or loose fitting white fitting undergarments
Stop the use of product causing irritation
Administration of anti- itch products
Prescription of cortisone ointment
Sitz baths and use of topical Oestrogens.

Irritation that can be caused by infection, allergy reaction / Injury.
