Anatomy & physiology of the uterus, fallopian tube, ovaries& pelvic floor.
Uterus

The uterus has 4 parts: the cervix, the fundus, corpus, and isthmus.
The lower opening of the uterus is the cervix, which dilates during labor to allow for delivery of the infant.

Pelvic floor

The bony pelvis, allocated at the base of the body between hips, supports the pelvic organs, including the growing uterus pregnancy.

Fallopian tubes
There are two fallopian tubes that branch outward from the right and left sides at the top of the uterus.

At birth, the ovaries contain all the eggs (oocytes-primitive ova or eggs) the woman will ever produce, approximately 400 000 in each ovary, most of which will never mature for possible fertilization.
