Exception Principle
-
Frederick Taylor, the father of management, adopted a rather simple operational control system that is not based on performance but on the verification of exceptions or deviations from normal standards.
It was formulated by Taylor. The more a manager concentrates his control efforts on deviations and exceptions, the more efficient the results will be.

Principle of Action
-
Control is only justified when it indicates provisions capable of correcting the deviations detected or verified with respect to the plans.
Control measures and reports indicate when the activities carried out do not achieve the expected results, and allow establishing conditions to initiate corrective action.
