No pain/sensation (nerves destroyed)
Must have graft, flap, or amputation
Full Thickness
Third Degree
Burn site might appear white or charred
May go into subcutaneous tissue
Destroys epidermis and dermis
Second Degree
May be (depends on depth)
Painful
Swollen
Blistered
Red
Deep Partial Thickness
First Degree
Mild swelling
Painfull
Superficial partial thickness
Erythema
No vesicles to blisters
Blanch-able redness
