Trade stopped due to the likeliness of catching the disease.
Producing other goods and services became more difficult.
The suppliers of food and agriculture goods were wiped out which left a hole in the economy.
Peasants began to demand higher wages.

The black plague spreads through animals which caused a lot of catostraphic as people relied on animals for jobs and food.
One Third of Europes population were wiped out
More than 20 million people died in Europe, which contributed to the 200 million lives it claimed
