The players collect resources from the land they start on choose, and slowly build out to get more items
Depending on what items you have, you can build infrastructure (aka houses or things to help get resources), weapons (aka higher chance to damage enemy infrastructure, or tools (aka things for stealing, collecting, or building)
Depending on what resources a player has, they can build / create different types of things
Big maps with arrangeable tiles, like Catan

Game Rules:
Perhaps every 3 - 5 rounds, each player has to roll to get a new job and move on the board / hierarchy of life or work?
Each round, a player can choose to
roll
to (something), take a
"luck/event" card
(e.g. You donated to charity! -$500), or
continue working
and earning money
Draw cards to get job
Roll dice to determine starting money / "position" in life?
Every player gets like an action on their turn or smth
You start with nothing, and do services for money, like selling art, or cleaning cars. Eventually, you'll be able to get better, higher-paying jobs, or "services" (real estate, idk other rich people stuff) and earn more money.
Like The Game of Life, where the goal is to go around a board and get money, and the player at the end with the most money wins.
